With four main areas representing health, work, eat and play, this year's pavilion is designed to show the functionality of the intuitive home as it interacts and reacts to the homeowner's needs.
Discover what high-end networking technologies
CEDIA Members will be installing in the next ?four to five years.
Featured technologies will address:
- Near field communication
- Telepresence
- Access control (with a focus on those with special needs)
- Aging in place
- Voice activation
- Gesture control
The Future Technology Pavilion will be offering tours during CEDIA EXPO tradeshow hours, Thursday September 6 and Friday September 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday September 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Indianapolis.
Those interested in exploring the new technologies, home automation systems and overall power of consumer electronics exhibited during CEDIA EXPO, and throughout the Future Technology Pavilion, are encouraged to speak with a home technology professional. When you work with a
professional installer you benefit from collaborating with someone who is prepared to stand behind their work; for example programming that controller, understanding its features and quirks, teaching you how to use it and supporting you if it fails that's where a custom electronics professional earns his/her keep. Throughout CEDIA EXPO, it is these professional installers who will converge with the leading CE manufacturers to unveil, share and admire the products that will help shape the intuitive home of 2016.
CEDIA invites you to browse the Future Technology Pavilion via interactive video footage. Those interested in further B-Roll or interview footage can contact
