Money can't buy love, it's true, but it can buy one heck of an impressive digital library.
Former Beatle Paul McCartney agreed to let Hewlett-Packard Co. digitize his library of images, artwork, paintings, films and videos, some of which will be opened up to his fans.
Palo Alto-based HP (NYSE: HPQ) made the deal with the singer�s business, McCartney Productions Ltd.
HP will digitize all the material and create a �content management system� for it. Some bits of the library will be made available to McCartney�s fans, while other sections will be private.
This is HP�s first collaboration of this kind. It didn't give any financial details.
